I can confirm that it opens fine in Excel 2010.

I have saved it to ODS in Calc and it then ODS opens without a problem in Calc.

I did also open the ODS in Excel 2010, and gte this message:
Excel completed file level validation and repair. Some parts of this workbook
may have been repaired or discarded.
