Bug ID: 116345
Summary: Impress: Video in an ODP file endlessly zooms in when
running the presentation mode
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.1.6.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: yoan at konqi.fr
Description:
When a video (e.g. mp4 file) is being embedded to the ODP document (e.g. via
drag-and-drop), if the video is positioned such as the bottom of the video is
beyond the bottom of the page, the following bug happens in presentation mode:
the video on the audience's screen starts autoplay and zooms in by itself,
endlessly, progressively overloading the CPU. Additionally, the speaker's
screen has two views of the video: a preview picture, correctly positioned, and
the playing video, mispositioned.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new ODP document
2. Drag and drop a mp4 video to the page
3. Position the video so that the bottom of the video is under the bottom of
the page
4. press F5 to start presentation
5. Observe both screens (audience + speaker's screens) having different bugs
Actual Results:
Audience screen: the video endlessly zooms in
Speaker's screen: two views of the video can be seen: 1 static (picture,
properly positioned with respect to the page), 1 playing (video, misaligned
with respected to the page)
Expected Results:
No endless zoom
Only 1 view, correctly positionned as in edit mode
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
OpenGL disabled
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101
