Description:
If you insert multiple linked images in a page, it keeps redrawing the images
over and over. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Copy over included files and put in /tmp
2. Open file which references linked bitmaps in /tmp
3. See screen redraw repeatedly

Actual Results:  
Infinite loop of redraw

Expected Results:
Less redrawing


Reproducible: Always
