Hmm, you are using a 32-bit Ubuntu. I wonder if you are hitting this bug
108619. Unfortunately it has still not been fixed in Linux Kernel:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1699772 (see latest
comments).

What is your Ubuntu version? 14.04?
