            Bug ID: 116447
Summary: [EDITING] when editing a cell, indicate visually
                    whether "edit mode" is active
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.0.2.1 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: severoraz at gmail.com

Program: LibreOffice Calc

Context: editing the content of a cell

(Edit mode is the cell editing mode where the arrow keys navigate within the
cell content instead of within the spreadsheet, whereby the cell reference the
cursor is at is inserted.)

Enhancement: give a visual indication when "edit mode" is active.

Justification: sometimes the intention of navigating within the cell contents,
results in the unwanted insertion of cell references.
