Bug ID: 116535
Summary: Allow to press anywhere inside a text box to start
type text in Impress
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.0.1.1 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: UI
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: vermelhusco1904 at gmail.com

In Powerpoint you press wherever you want to start typing and in Impress you
need to press the "Click to Add Text" line.
In Powerpoint a user can press wherever he wants in the text box to start
typing while in Impress one has to expressly press the "Click to add text" line
to start typing.
This is less user friendly, and annoying for users with impaired motor skills
if they're using the mouse.
