            Bug ID: 117863
Summary: Recent documents in Libre Office launch page:
                    highlighting looks very poor
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.0.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: najoll at posteo.net

Description:
The page (window) one sees when one runs Libre Office (the Office, rather than
any particular app therein) contains icons for and the names of recent
documents. When I move the pointer over any such item, only half of the text
is highlighted; the highlighting is vertically truncated. Please see
screenshot.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Libre Office (libreoffice6.0).
2. Move pointer over a recent item.

Actual Results:
Please see screenshot and also the description above.

Expected Results:
The highlighting should either not touch or - better - *fully* cover, the text.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Linux Mint 18.3.
DPI set to double.
I can detail font settings should that be helpful.
