The minimum tribute to cross-platform compatibility is to not apply immediately
but per Apply. The draft for a guideline is here
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/PropertyDialog though Apply is just
an idea there. We do have it in some dialogs, e.g. Page settings, and I'd
appreciate to have this function consistently on all property dialogs.
