Bug ID: 117927
Summary: Calc extremely unstable. Crashes repeatedly.
Irretrievable without reboot
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: zacgarbage at gmail.com
Description:
I am a new user, seeking to replace Excel 2002 SP-1 which has been corrupted
and rendered useless by the latest version of Windows 10 (Version 1803 OS build
17134.48). After loading the Excel spreadsheet into Calc and carrying out a
number (typically 10 or so) of actions, Calc freezes and it is not possible to
close it or remove it from the screen (so desktop is inaccessible)and thus
forces a reboot. There is no particular action which causes the crash, but it
does so repeatedly
Actual Results:
As noted in the description above. There appears to be no particular pattern
or sequence that causes the crash. It happens all the time after a number of
Calc actions
Expected Results:
As noted above
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Not crashed and not rendered the PC unusable
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101
