Hello Mike and thanks for the patience.

Just a quick take from the bug I'd opened:

a quick way to implement this would be a simple dialog composed of a one-line
textbox on top and a listbox in the rest of the window.

A proof of concept (the same thing implemented in GIMP) is shown in this video
