Seriously, you consider that the way to deal with UI issues? There are cases
when fixing one issue causes another or the underlying architecture makes
fixing the issue challenging. Here it is known exactly what the user wants, the
functionality to provide it is implemented, and it is just disabled because
"not designed to work".

If asinine UX is not LO design goal then you need to invest in UX education so
things like this are not the norm.
