Bug ID: 121328
Summary: Slow startup time on SSD
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.1.3.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: joshas at gmail.com
Description:
LibreOffice programs take a long time to open on first time after computer
reboot. E.g. LibreOffice Calc takes up to 13s to start, when starting program
directly, not opening a document. Repeated startups usually are instant, but in
some cases might take up to 10s. Looks like that there's some thing stalling
startup.
LibreOffice is installed on SSD drive.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Restart computer
2. Run any LibreOffice program, e.g. Calc
3. Wait for it to open
Actual Results:
Program startup takes a long time, all time is spent in loading banner state.
Expected Results:
Startup in a few seconds.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
OpenGL enabled: Yes
