Chart Frame blocks view of spreadsheet data range selection

I am creating a chat containing 2 columns. During selection of  Data Range a
blank frame appears on spreadsheet on column B at Cell 1 and block the view.
After clicking the spreadsheet the Calc application hangs and not respond and
finally have to close down the process from System Monitor. I am using Fedoro
29 Workstation.
