Is this something you'd be interested in looking at? 

We are not importing the line properties of WordArt. When you have white text
on a white background with a color line, we end up with invisible object
imported. You can see this here, by going to attachment 126867 clicking on the
Textbox -> Area -> Fill -> Solid Blue. Vola the text appears.
