Bug ID: 119858
Summary: After document is loaded from file, one of tables in
middle of the document is moved to next page
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.0.5.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: tomasz.palutkiewicz at gmail.com
Description:
When document is saved, some page in the middle of document contains a short
paragraph of text with page title, table with most of it's content and a bit of
free space at the bottom (I tried versions with and without empty paragraph
below the table to see if it will resolve problem - it didn't).
When document is loaded, title paragraph remains at the top, but everything
below is moved to next page and moves rest of document to following pages. When
I change the size of title paragraph (even if I make i larger!), the table goes
back to its proper place.
It wastes a bit of time every time I return to the document to edit it.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create paragraph at top of the page
2. create table which fills most of remaining page space
3. save the document to file
4. load the document from file
Actual Results:
Table is moved to next page after document is loaded from file
and needs to be positioned again by some change at original page.
Expected Results:
Table should remain at the place where it was saved.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
I think that some calculations during document loading process
use different rounding than those during actual work afterwards,
which causes one of elements to seem larger than it actually is.
