Using the attached document, it has improved since the last time I tested it.

CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; 
Locale: ca-ES (ca_ES.UTF-8); Calc: threaded

now it takes 14 seconds with or without threading enabled...
However, it takes 2 seconds in LibreOffice 4.1, so let's keep it open for the
time being...
