            Bug ID: 119934
Summary: Calc losing chart data range on linked sheet when
                    refreshed
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.1.6.2 release
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Chart
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: raja at rsdisk.com

Description:
Hello,

Libre Office version 5.1.6.2, OS Mint 18.3 up-to-date

I have a Sheet1 that is linked to a web page and pulls the html table. Based on
this i have a chart on Sheet2 .

The data on Sheet1 is updated every few seconds. The column count changes and
also row count. For chart data range i use a range more than what I expect the
data to be.

When the column count goes down it is fine. but next when the column count/row
count goes up the data range changes in the chart and keeps losing the range i
had set.

every time the page updates i have to validate if the chart data range is
complete and if row/column counts have gone up then it is not.

Since my data changes almost every minute it becomes a tedious process.

It would be better if the data range does not update to current non-empty cells
and looks for data in the data range given, so when a linked page is refreshed
it also refreshes correctly.

Thanks for your time!

Sincerely,
R

Actual Results:
Chart does not refresh correctly.

Expected Results:
Chart should reflect all data from linked page when sheet is updated as per
link url.

Reproducible: Always
