--- Comment #8 from stragu <stephane.guillou at member.fsf.org> ---
Tested in:
Version: 6.0.6.2
Build ID: 1:6.0.6-0ubuntu0.18.04.1
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-AU (en_GB.UTF-8); Calc: group
The results are slightly different to the original description:
"Average" is now the same word in the menu, the layout and the pivot table
headers, which is good.
However, there is still potential confusion in the naming of functions:
- Some names are still abbreviated and never spelled out ("StDev" and "Var"),
which makes it less accessible for people who don't know what they stand for;
- The layout and the pivot table headers do not make the distinction between
the variations of Count, StDev, and Var: both the layout and the pivot table
headers only show "Var" for both "Var" and "VarP", "StDev" for both "StDev" and
"StDevP", and "Count" for "Count" and "Count (numbers only)".
