            Bug ID: 120166
Summary: Cell border style works differently in Microsoft Excel
                    and LibreOffice Calc
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: kelemeng at ubuntu.com

Example ods file

The LibreOffice Calc cannot overwrite the border style of an adjacent cell, if
we try to modify the border style of the active cell.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new spreadsheet (save as *.ods or *.xlsx) with LibreOffice Calc
2. Set the A1:C10 cells border style to a simple (1 pt width, black) continuous
line
3. Try to modify only one cell (B5) border to “- none -”

4. Do the same (save as *.xlsx) from the beginning in Microsoft Excel
2010/2013/2016

Actual results:
We cannot modify a simple cell border (we have to select at least 2) in
LibreOffice Calc, if we have already set a cell border for a larger range. We
can modify it with Microsoft Excel.

Expected results:
We should modify a simple cell border in LibreOffice Calc, even if we have
already set a cell border for a larger range.

Verzió: 6.1.0.3
Build az.: efb621ed25068d70781dc026f7e9c5187a4decd1
CPU szálak: 4; OS: Windows 6.3; Felületmegjelenítés: alapértelmezett;
Területi beállítások: hu-HU (hu_HU); Calc: group threaded

(This is probably a dupe, sorry in advance if that is the case)
