Thank you - and everyone else who works on LibreOffice.

I was quite frustrated that things weren't documented correctly - started
looking for problems on my system seeing as I couldn't get what should work to
work!

I've also not got much bandwidth - there's a cost every time I do another
download, so I was hoping for a definitive answer, but I'll cope, afterall
you're all providing superb software at no cost to me.

If that's so, could I download the code and rebuild it with the 10.8 SDK?

PS have found that I did have 5.1.6.2 on my system before I tried updating, but
only have 4.4.7.2 running now - the interface is pretty, but not so easy to
use!
