Recently upgraded to 

libreoffice-6.1.5.2-5.fc29.x86_64

Tried with OpenGL disabled as per comment #3

This results not in a crash, but the projector window disappearing, in a
half-drawn dialog "LibreOffice 6.1 Document Recovery" and the application
becoming unresponsive. Attaching screenshot.
