Bug ID: 124877
Summary: [Feature Request]: Create empty document or from
template with a certain filename
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: evan_greenup at protonmail.com
It could bring a great convenient if there is an option like `soffice --new
./hello.odt` NOTE that `./hello.odt` doesn't exist before this command, it can
create an empty writer file. If the file extension is `.odg` or `.odp`, it will
create the relevant file automatically. The name of option may not be "--new",
it can be any names.
