I would omit all whatever versions altogether, so the sentence reads
"LibreOffice caches spreadsheet formula results into its ODF file."

The point is that all versions always wrote formula results to file (also OOo
and others did) but at some point we stopped to always recalculate everything
to be able to load things faster.
