How this looked like in the past.

Just to set the right expectations, I attach how this used to look like. The
good part is that there used to be a single line of text above and below the
shape; the bad part is Word has 2 full-width lines below the shape and Writer
has only one (i.e. that part is not a regression and has to be a topic for a
separate bug).
