A pivot table referencing a cell with a long text string

Saving the attachment to XLSX and reopening with Excel gives warning about "a
problem with some content", then "Repaired Records: PivotTable report from
/xl/pivotCache/pivotCacheDefinition1.xml part (PivotTable cache)".
