"Hide whitespace" changes document content: 3 colums-layout becomes 1-column
layout

Steps to Reproduce:
(1) Open attached testdocument
(2) Result: Document shows this layout

(2) Menu -> View -> check "Hide Whitespace" 





Actual Results:
(3) Result: Document changed layout to this (unexpected)

(3) Layout stays unchanged
