...was created by Prabesh in bug 124969. Point is that "dark mode" means to
more or less automatically adjust the configuration. You can make the app dark
as hell manually, check tools > options > app colors (and tools > options >
view > icon style for "breeze (dark)").

Consider also to save and share your dark app colors as extension (not sure if
possible).
