Bug ID: 129263
Summary: Textboxes do not survive saving
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.3.3.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: xarx at sms.cz
Description:
Textboxes do not survive saving. After opening a saved document, textboxes
decompose into simpler objects.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Insert a textbox and type in a text
Note that inserted textbox is marked with blue border and green dots in
corners.
2. You may rotate the textbox for a better effect.
3. Save the document and close it.
4. Reopen the document
Actual Results:
The textbox is not rotated. Furthermore, it lacks the blue border. It looks
like the textbox gets decomposed into two parts (a frame and something).
Expected Results:
The textbox is restored as a real textbox again, and it will stay rotated.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
