Bug ID: 129307
Summary: Trying to Open Calc Spreadsheet 'JSL EXCELTEMPLATE.ots
does not exist' Pops Up
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.3.3.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: ajikan at protonmail.com
Description:
Clicking Calc Spreadsheet under Create: This pops up:
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user\template\JSL
EXCELTEMPLATE.ots does not exist
When I click OK to close pop up a normal Calc Spreadsheet opens. For Writer
Doc/Impress/Draw/Math/Base there's no pop up and they all open normally.
Referencing this [https://bit.ly/2qeTTyY] I have run Calc Spreadsheet in Safe
Mode's [Restore from backup] [Configure] [Extensions] [Reset to factory
settings] [Advanced] with all boxes ticked/unticked in each Safe category. In
Safe the Calc Spreadsheet bug is not repeated. I've reset my entire user
profile. In Restart/Normal the Calc Spreadsheet bug is repeated.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click to open Calc Spreadsheet
2. Spreadsheet should open in normal mode.
Actual Results:
1.Clicked to open Calc Spreadsheet
2.'C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user\template\JSL
EXCELTEMPLATE.ots does not exist' pops up.
3.Clicked OK to close pop up and a normal spreadsheet opens.
4.Ran Calc Spreadsheet in Safe Mode's [Restore from backup] [Configure]
[Extensions] [Reset to factory settings] [Advanced] with all boxes
ticked/unticked in each Safe category. In Safe the Calc Spreadsheet bug is not
repeated. In Restart/Normal the Calc Spreadsheet bug is repeated. I've reset my
user profile and bug not resolved.
Expected Results:
Calc Spreadsheet should open in normal mode without error pop up.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
