Using  LibreOffice 6.3.4.2, as requested.

Pasting directly into the writer document (Ctrl + V), OR special paste (Ctrl +
V) using the "LibreOffice drawing format" option gives similar, acceptable
results.

However, using the Special paste "LibreOffice 6.3 drawing" option results in
the bottom side of the square being missing (cropped?) in the document window.
In addition, if you generate a pdf of the document, the right-side of the
square is missing (cropped?).
