Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.2.8.2 release
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

Description:
Downloaded L-) 6.2.8_Win_x64. Multiple attempts to install failed with 1303
error. Insufficient privileges. Same happens whether I log on as administrator
or myself (with administrator status). Meanwhile old Libre-Ofice installation
has been removed and same issue arises if I try to reinstall the older version
Steps to Reproduce:
1.download 6.2.8 update from your site
2.save file in downloads
3.click on file in downloads
4. Installer wizard opens
5. Hits a wall as described, after accepting that re-boot will be required
Actual Results:
wizard gets to point where it says 'copying files' and then stops with box
saying "1303 error"
insufficient privileges, refer administrator. I have administrator status, but
logged off and on again as admin, and vice versa, several times
Old LibreOffice installation has disappeared and same sequence leading to
'error 1303 arises if I try to reinstall earlier version.
Expected Results:
normal installation should proceed
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
