Bug ID: 129641
Summary: CTRL Z pasting from the web in an odt doc does not
remove changes in character styling
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.3.3.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: granjonj at gmail.com
Description:
Let’s consider a regular odt document, opened in writer.
I already have some text in it, and I paste some text from the web.
It is pasted with the style from the webpage.
Let’s consider I only want the text, not the format. I cancel my paste action
(CTRL+Z) and then I choose paste > unformatted text (sorry, I’m in french so I
don’t know the exact labels).
Bug: the new pasted text is formatted with the format coming from the web, not
the one of my document. The same behavior occurs if I type text after CTRL +Z.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Copy text from firefox
2.paste in an odt document
3.CTRL Z
4.type new text where the text was pasted
Actual Results:
the text is not formatted with the style of the rest of the text, it is styled
with another style (from the web)
Expected Results:
the new text should have the same style as the existing text, not the style
from the web.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
