Bug ID: 122405
Summary: Calc Editing - Right click on cell, cuts cell many
times.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.0.7.3 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: benchrest at yahoo.com
Description:
Right click on cell or group of selected cells causes cell(s) to be cut. When
it works correctly a context menu pops up with cut highlighted. When it fails
its as though a left click was done quickly after the right click. Fails about
20-30% of time.
I have had this issue for some time and thought it was my mouse or me. But a
2nd mouse behaves the same. I have no issues with writer or any other
application on my system. Several days ago I installed 5.4.6.2 and it does not
fail. So far it has only been a big inconvenience as I can recover using undo.
But it slows me down enough that I will stay with version 5 till there is a
resolution.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select cell or cells
2.Right click on cell
3.
Actual Results:
Cell gets cut and disappears from view. I know it is cut as looking at undo it
says undo cut
Expected Results:
After the right click on cell I should see a context menu giving me options of
cut, copy, paste etc.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
I have had this problem with LinuxMint 18.3, 19.0 and 19.1 w/cinnamon.
I have reinstalled Libreoffice several times. The last install I completely
started from scratch after fresh install of operating system so there are no
residual profiles. Currently I have 5.4.6.2 as my default with 6.0.7.3 still
installed so I can do any test you might require.
I do not know what OpenGL is and don't believe it is installed.
