Bug ID: 122571
Summary: Dialog theming/UX - switches
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: iOS
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: iOS
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: contact at 0x17.ch
Description:
Checkboxes (it seems Apple calls them "switches") should be big enough to be
able to toggle them with a finger.
It probably makes sense, to reuse the visual style of the Apple platform which
is explained here:
https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/ios/controls/switches/
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a writer document in the iOS app, mark text
2. Open the dialog to edit the paragraph style
3. See e.g. the checkbox called "Automatisch aktualisieren" in the attached
screenshot
Actual Results:
It's a tiny square box which is hard to use with a finger and differs from the
widget which is used in iOS (see iOS HIG).
Expected Results:
Bigger box or switch widget as described in iOS HIG.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
