            Bug ID: 123060
           Summary: UI, FORMATTING: Numbering Styles not listed in Styles
                    Manager (under "All Styles")
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.2.0.2 rc
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: whitewaterssoftwareinfo at gmail.com

Description:
LibreOffice Writer
Version: 6.2.0.2 (x64)
Build ID: 2ce5217b30a543f7666022df50f0562f82be0cff

Context: There are ten (10) Numbering Styles included in every new Writer
Document by default - they are useful. This bug makes it hard (but not
impossible) to view and edit Numbering Styles.

Issue: Numbering Styles are not listed in Style Manager(View->Styles) when "All
Styles" is selected in the style-type filter drop-down menu. The Style manager
failing to display the Numbering Styles that are present inside the document is
a bug.

Workaround:
Currently to view or edit a Numbering Style you must perform the following
procedure:
Step 1. Open the Style Manager (View->Styles or press F11)
Step 2. Edit a Paragraph Style (for example: right click on "Header" style and
select "Modify").
Step 3. Click the Outline & Numbering Tab (Title bar will say: "Paragraph
Style: Header")
Step 4. Under "Numbering Style" drop-down menu select a numbering style (for
example: "Numbering 123" or "List 1")
Step 5: Click the "Edit Style" button to the right of the drop-down menu. You
can now view or edit the settings of the selected Numbering Style

Fixing this bug in the Style Manager would reduce the number of steps to view
or edit a Numbering Style.

Expected Behavior after Fix:
When this bug is fixed the user will only have to perform the following steps
to view or edit a Numbering Style:
(When Fixed) Step 1. Open the Style Manager (View->Styles or press F11)
(When Fixed) Step 2. Select "All Styles" in the style-type filter drop-down
menu. The Numbering Styles will appear in the list of styles.
(When Fixed) Step 3. Right click the desired Numbering Style (for example:
"Numbering 123" or "List 1") and select "Modify." You can now view or edit the
settings of the selected Numbering Style.

It should be relatively straightforward to include Numbering Styles in the list
of styles shown by the Style Manager when "All Styles" is selected.

Steps to Reproduce:
See related reproduction steps in description.

To see that Numbering Styles are not shown in the Style Manager perform the
following Procedure:
Step 1: Open the Style Manager (View->Styles or press F11)
Step 2: Select "All Styles" in the style-type filter drop-down menu located
inside the Style Manager
Step 3: Inspect the list of styles shown. The following 10 default Numbering
Styles that are present in every new Writer document will not be present:
* List 1
* List 2
* List 3
* List 4
* List 5
* Numbering 123
* Numbering ABC
* Numbering IVX
* Numbering abc
* Numbering ivx

Actual Results:
The 10 default Numbering Styles listed above were missing from the Style
Manager list of styles. (See related steps in description for current
workaround to view or edit Numbering Styles)

Expected Results:
The following 10 default Numbering Styles should have appeared in the Style
Manager:
* List 1
* List 2
* List 3
* List 4
* List 5
* Numbering 123
* Numbering ABC
* Numbering IVX
* Numbering abc
* Numbering ivx

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
A workaround has been described for viewing and editing Numbering Styles
however fixing this bug would make it significantly easier.
