CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default; VCL: win; 
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: 

if the filter range contains empty rows, you need to tell LO the range:

- select A1:A5 
or
- select column A

before apply autofilter

you can also use Menu Data/Define Range... to name the filter range
