1. Please don't confirm your own bug, that is done by others.
2. What I described is not a workaround, but the proper and intended way to do
that.
3. The item that you used is a new item since 6.1 [1], which is localized
abbreviated ordinals (as you see on English UI). It is not intended for what
you used it. Its similarity to your intention is language-specific.
4. If you think that there's a help shortcoming, please file a separate bug,
because this bug, as it is filed, is notabug, and trying to convert it to a
different thing would only create confusion.
