Version: 6.2.4.2
Build ID: 1:6.2.4-0ubuntu0.18.04.1~lo1
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; 
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-GB
Calc: threaded

and:

Version: 6.3.0.0.beta1
Build ID: a187af327633f5f00363be5131bd21a13e0f1a7b
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; 
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US

The behaviour is slightly different: to make the caption reappear, changing
window focus does not work. However, resizing the Writer window does work.

Note that, even if the caption disappears, it is still visible when using
Toggle Print Preview.
