Bug ID: 126136
Summary: Export ePub italicized words run into next word
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.2.4.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: jdlfolks at gmail.com
Description:
Case 1: Italicized word followed by space that is not italicized will run into
the next word with no space between.
Case 2: Italicized word followed by italicized space will behave properly.
Case 2 is a workaround that may not be very obvious to figure out.
Case 3: Italicized word followed by not-italicized character other than a space
seems to be fine. I haven't checked all combinations.
I am using LibreOffice Version: 6.2.4.2 (x64)
Build ID: 2412653d852ce75f65fbfa83fb7e7b669a126d64
ePub export is using version 3 with split on page break and a fixed layout
method.
I'm using US-English
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type in a sentence with sporadic italicized words or parts of words with
some followed by normal spaces, some by italicized spaces, and some followed by
punctuation.
2. File->Export As->Export As EPUB
3. Export as version 3.0
4. Use Fixed layout
3.
Actual Results:
Italicized words followed by non italicized space will run on into the next
word in the export. A space that is also italicized after the italicized word
will be properly presented and the italicized word will not run on into the
next word.
Expected Results:
Output should follow the formatting as presented whether a space is italicized
or not.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
OpenGL enabled: Yes
