Bug ID: 123969
Summary: VIEWING zoom 100% really 91%
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.1.5.2 release
Hardware: Other
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: Nick_Levinson at yahoo.com
Description:
In Writer, when View > Zoom is at 100%, a page on 8.5x11" paper should be
displayed at 8.5x11". It actually displays at 7.75" wide (ignoring margins and
counting the paper as cut edge-to-edge). At least for width, View > Zoom is
effectively at 91%.
I'd like the display to correspond to the menu setting.
My Dell Latitude laptop's display being at 1440x900 (the max) or at 1280x800,
both having the same aspect ratio of 16:10, makes no difference. They both
yield 91%. The window's lower right says "100%" and the slider is centered and
appears to correspond to 100%. Moving the slider to "110%", effectively the
inverse, is a kludge but not intuitive.
I'm running Fedora 29 Linux kept manually evergreen. LO version is 6.1.5.2 and
Build ID is 6.1.5.2-2.fc29. I don't know if this is the earlist version
affected; it's probably not.

No relevant bugs or feature requests were seen.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. View a document.
2. Zoom to 100%.
Actual Results:
Rendering is at about 91%, thus distorting from what we'd get on paper.
Expected Results:
Rendering at 100%.
Reproducible: Always
