On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I don't reproduce this.
2 remarks:
- the content of resulting file seems ok but the counting of pages is wrong.
When I go to the second page, it displays "page 3".
- accents were corrupted in odb file so I had to rename it.

To be sure, it's not encoding problem, replace accentuated "e" by plain "e" and
spaces by "_".
