I can't reproduce it in:
Version: 6.1.5.2 (x64)
Build ID: 90f8dcf33c87b3705e78202e3df5142b201bd805

Version: 6.2.2.1 (x64)

Calc:
In both cases i get an info message:
"This function cannot be used with multiple selections."
To be certain the reported issue is not
related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your
Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and
re-test?
If the bug is still present, please attach a sample document, as this makes it
easier for us to verify the bug. (Please note that the attachment will be
public, remove any sensitive information before attaching it.
