Additionally it would be great to have this function:

I am writing a document where I need to insert a cross reference with different
text as a link to the actual section of the document.

As an example:

I want this sentence

Firmware update can be done via the pop-menu invoked by pressing
Control+PrintScreen

cross referenced to the text (could also be a header):

Firmware update via CTRL+PrnScr
