Bug ID: 125206
Summary: Edit mode password required in Excel is bypassed in
Calc
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: david.genova at du.edu
Description:
I created a file in Excel that requires a password to open the file and another
password to leave read-only mode and edit the file. When I use this same file
in Libre Calc, I am required to enter the password to open the file, but am
allowed to enter Edit mode without entering a second password to leave
read-only mode and edit the file. Is this a bug or does Calc only require one
password to open as well as edit a file?
Actual Results:
Open a file with the two passwords listed above
Expected Results:
One password opens and allows edit. This should not happen.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]
Locale: en-US
Module: SpreadsheetDocument
[Information guessed from browser]
OS: Windows (All)
OS is 64bit: no
