            Bug ID: 125274
Summary: Integrate TexMaths functionality into LibreOffice
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: nils at hollemail.de

Description:
By now, Microsoft Word supports entering LaTeX equations without any further
installation needed.
I think this would be a great thing to have in LibreOffice too.
There is already the TexMaths extension, which works ok in Writer, but does not
provide inline equations in Impress.
Maybe some of that code might be helpful.
I don't see any reason why we should not be able to ship a LaTeX binary with
LibreOffice.
