ok. I'll reopen it if it happens again and if I can supply an example which
makes it easy to reproduce it.

But shall I post a new bug for the other glitch which I found:

If the options _same content on first page_ and _same content on right and left
pages_ are deselected after a footnote really has content, they appear on all
pages despite of that.
