Bug ID: 125438
Summary: Extension updates to another instead of installing
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.2.3.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: sanipachenko at outlook.com.ar
Description:
[ES]
Dos extensiones diferentes creadas por mí para la instalación de paletas de
colores se actualizan aún cuando son dos paletas totalmente diferentes e
independientes.
[EN]
Two different extensions created by me for the installation of color palettes
are updated even though they are two totally different and independent
palettes.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download LMD Malva de Perkin (Color palette)
2. Install with double click.
3. Download LMD Color of the Year (Color Pallette)
4. Double click to install
Actual Results:
The new extension tries to update to the one that is already installed.
Expected Results:
Both extensions are installed independently of the one that is already
installed.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
Both extensions are from my creation and this happens with the extensions
created by me to install different color palettes (extensions published or not
in https://extensions.libreoffice.org/). It does not happen if the palette
belongs to another author.
