--- Comment #1 from Regina Henschel <rb.henschel at t-online.de> ---
Yes, the preview lines should be at the cursor.

The position of the preview line is correct in Version: 6.1.2.0.0+ (x64)
Build ID: 2f52a8e0f1098a51631434129707cfb0b60fecb3
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default;
TinderBox: Win-x86_64 at 42, Branch:libreoffice-6-1, Time: 2018-09-14_00:42:50
Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: CL
But the preview is too dark.

The position of the preview line is broken in Version: 6.1.3.2 (x64)
Build ID: 86daf60bf00efa86ad547e59e09d6bb77c699acb
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default;
Locale: de-DE (en_US); Calc: CL

Then it is correct again in Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: f7f2d03bd6f5aa5dcd0f7976b4a7f2db278c2f03
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default;
TinderBox: Win-x86_64 at 42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-05-25_05:00:28
Locale: de-DE (en_US); Calc: CL

and then broken again in Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha1+ (x64)
Build ID: bf4fc97131147d25b18d088023262c977f0b2787
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default; VCL: win;
TinderBox: Win-x86_64 at 42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-11-10_01:58:33
Locale: de-DE (en_US); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: CL

I have not tested whether a later version with correct preview line exists.
