I've added the same revert to Gerrit for master as:
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/82523

This side effect is more problematic then the one mentioned in the commit
message of the original revert. I don't think that the state of bug 108687 is
really correct, as it claims it's fixed in target:6.3.0, but the last comments
contain these reverts, which IMHO should reopen bug 108687.
