vectorial image cannot be cropped

This document has two images side by side. The left one has been pasted from
LibreOffice Draw, the right one from Gimp. 

The vectorial image from Draw cannot be cropped.

(Converting to bitmap is not a solution.)

In the lower part of the diagram I added two screenshot images to show the
content of the local menu (right-click menu) of each image.
